Dr. Matthew Teltser - Longstanding Florida Cardiologist
Dr. Matthew Teltser had a career as a Florida cardiologist spanning more than three decades. Experienced in preventive care approaches, he treated patients with wide ranging heart conditions, including those related to hypertension. Matthew Teltser, MD, also practiced nuclear cardiology and lipidology while leading the University Heart Institute in Pembroke Pines and was honored as an American College of Cardiology fellow.
Dr. Teltser earned his doctor of medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Rutgers) and undertook summer research that led to his co-authoring the paper “Determinants of Preclinical Cardiac Abnormalities in Diabetics (Clinical Research, 1979). Next pursuing a residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. he instructed house staff trainees in internal medicine. Dr. Teltser’s medical training extends to a cardiology fellowship completed at the University of Florida Health, Jacksonville.
Dr. Matthew Teltser has a passion for bonsai tree cultivation and is active with organizations such as the Gulf Coast Bonsai Society and the Broward Bonsai Society. He is also a coffee enthusiast who enjoys specialty roasting that brings out the unique flavors of coffee beans.
